I've always been fascinated by the candles on a menorah. This year I took some extra time to photograph some of 2024 menorah lighting moments.
What is Hanukkah Information To knockout one more final spot for the year, I hiked up to the High Knob Fire Tower Lookout. High Knob Fire Tower Lookout is an old Fire Tower, built in the 1930s, that was used to monitor for fires throughout the Shenandoah Mountains.

I am always looking for new ways to practice my photography. One of my co-workers owns Charlie Town Farms, a cut your own Christmas Tree Farm, and allowed to me drop by and take some pictures of the trees. It's a really spot and was an awesome experience! Wildwood Park - Bridgewater, VA Riverwalk - Bridgewater, VA Crescent Rock Overlook - Shenandoah National Park, VA It's amazing being able to live now in the Valley during the peak of the fall foliage! The whole area is covered in colors right now. I drove up to Ravens Roost Overlook to capture the overlook at sunrise. Since it is on the western side of the parkway, all the photographers were at other overlooks. So I had this one all to myself!
2024 Virginia Fall Foliage Blue Ridge Parkway Ravens Roost Overlook It's not often you get to see a comet that will not appear again for another 80,000 years. More so truly a once in a life time experience. I happened to be in Shenandoah during the time it was passing through and captured it next to the Milky Way. I hadn't realized I captured it until after I had taken the photo. It was an awesome experience!
