Each year, Burnside Farms has a Sunflower Festival. This year, they added firework shows on Friday and Saturday nights. The sunflowers with the sunset fireworks looked amazing!

The past few years, I have gone to the Netherlands Carillion to take photos of the 4th of July fireworks. Each year it gets more crowded, so I decided to try out a new spot along the Mount Vernon Trail. This is the best spot I have ever found for the fireworks! No crowds and easy to get to! And the show was great too!
