This was my first time going to DC to see the Christmas trees that were by the US Capitol Building and the White House.

I went to Jones Point Park for the first time with the intent of taking a photo the sun rising by the Jones Point Light House. That didn't go as planned, however, there was still a lot of great views! I plan to go back to check out other compositions.

In December 2021, I participated in my first photography workshop! This workshop was led by Siggi Brynjarsson owner of Viking International Photo Tours and organized by Iceland Photo Tours.  I would recommend Siggi, Viking Photo Tours, and Iceland Photo Tours to anyone looking for a workshop! I learned a lot and had a great time!  This 4 day workshop took us to photograph the northern lights, an ice cave, mountains, glaciers, and water falls.  I also spent two days on my own exploring Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland.
