Outer Banks, North Carolina

For last 20 years, my family has spent the first  week of August in the Outer Banks.  Although the weather was a bit rainy, there was still some time to explore the area. The small towns of Duck and Manteo have a lot of really great small specialty stores. There are also quite a few lighthouses that go up and down the coast.
